Welcome to Feeling Good and Balanced - The Community Falls Prevention Service for Crawley

How it all began...
One of Zest People's specialist areas includes Falls Prevention. So we were delighted when the opportunity arose to work with Crawley Borough Council to develop a wider community falls prevention programme for the residents of Crawley.

The programme began in November 2008 at local community venues in Crawley. Access routes include referral, recommendation or self referral. Following a successful 6 month review, and with much interest from both professionals and general public alike, we are pleased to receive the 'green light' for the programme to continue until at least until March 2010.

What is the Feeling Good and Balanced Programme?
An evidence based programme* of structured seated and standing exercises designed to improve balance, strength and coordination for the older, frailer adult. Refreshments and information talks are included in the programme. Please choose from the drop down menu below for further information.
