Productivity for Health and Fitness Managers
These workshops are ideal for Managers within Public Health and Health and Fitness. They provide an opportunity to learn alongside other business leaders and to share experience and best practice. The group format is lower cost than one to one tuition. The incidental networking can be as valuable as the training.
Business leaders are required to simultaneously juggle a wide range of tasks. Managing the business, staff and problems often leaves no time for development of the business or actually doing work on key projects. By learning how to better manage all the tasks and distractions faced as a senior manager we can create space to work and minimise the impact of distractions and non developmental activities.
Taking a common sense approach to training, we teach simple, practical tools to improve personal productivity. This leads to increased capacity and greater personal satisfaction. Participants also report reductions in stress levels and increased pleasure in doing things.
The workshop teaches techniques to improve personal time management, email and correspondence handling, priority setting, planning and stress management with a focus on maximising time for doing things.
Individuals implementing the learning perform better: achieving more with less effort. They find time for all the things they want to do, enjoying a reputation for getting things done. Their organisations benefit from the increased focus and the time created for development activity. Managers can also use the techniques to improve the productivity of their teams.
Structure
Two half-day workshops held at a convenient location on consecutive days are supported by one to one tuition at the attendee's place of work on both days, followed by a one to one session a week later, supported throughout via email and telephone.
The tools are simple, practical and easy to implement and maintain. Participants will need to create the space to set up the learning outside of the workshops: typically the two half days leading on from a morning workshop are sufficient with some time spent at home. Book out two full days to implement the training.
Attendees are introduced to the practical tools and the thinking behind improved productivity systems. They are given a framework for implementing the tools within their own working practices, and provided with one to one coaching support to set up a personalised system. We take a holistic approach focusing on home as well as work life to ensure no aspects of a person's life detracts from their productivity.
