Candidates will learn:
- To plan and perform their own exercise programme
- To assist a qualified fitness instructor in teaching exercise and fitness sessions
- To understand the body and its responses to exercise
- To understand the principles of training
- To recognise and be able to correct poor technique
Structure
Candidates complete the following elements:
- Exercise and Fitness Knowledge - 30hrs
- Either Circuit Training, Resistance Training or Exercise to Music - 30hrs
